Riffel Motorcycle Parts: a viability study to enter as a 1P supplier and measure the impact of an official store across multiple channels.

Riffel manufactures motorcycle parts and reaches consumers through a network of distributors and resellers. The question was whether it was worth entering directly, as an Amazon 1P supplier, and opening an official store on the major marketplaces.
Before spending a single real, we had to measure the size of the demand, the impact on the reseller network and the real margin of each model.
12 months, from data collection to first sales.
Reading over 150,000 listings and the brand's seller network.
Screening online sellers and reading demand by channel.
Data and recommendation presented to the Riffel team.
The role of each channel: 1P, 3P and official store.
Listings, channel policy and MAP live.
Amazon 1P active and the official store running.

Amazon began buying directly from Riffel, as a B2B customer (1P).
3P became the outlet for moving low-turnover products.
A space for the best-performing sellers, gaining visibility and matched purchasing with the brand.

“Origenow helped us launch on marketplaces the right way; now we have Amazon as a B2B customer.”
